The tattoo I'm thinking of getting is on the upper arm (hidden when wearing even a short-sleeve shirt), and will be the words "Hoc quoque transibit" in script. This means "This too shall pass" in Latin (little bit of intentional irony that I'm saying it in a dead language). This phrase has also become very personal to me.

Tatoos can look very sexy. I'm rather a conservative person (33yrs.) but I think they are hot in the right spot. Just as long as you don't get carried away, and end up looking like
Tommy Lee or something!!

I don't usually like tattoos, but it sounds very unique. As long as it is done in good taste, I would say go for it.

before you get it you may want to think it over, when you are say 70, is that phrase still going to mean the same thing to you, would you really want to see a saggy old thing on your arm. but if you really like it, then you should get it. you may just want to think it over

Any tattoo is hot on a guy as long as it doesn't involve naked girls or a freaking tribal all the other dudes are rocking...

I have 3 tatoos and all 3 relate to something very personal to me. It's expressionism, IMO. Don't let anyone try to convince you they don't hurt!!
