Kahlua and cream is one of the best tasting alcoholic beverages out there! The cream (prob. half-and-half) will help keep your stomach from getting upset.

My favorite drink in this category is one that I kinda made up myself. It is a cross between a Mohito and a tonic. I use mint and lime, squeeze the limes generously to release the juices, and you can either crush the mint leaves or tear them into small pieces, then add ice and how ever much CLEAR rum you want, and a splash of sprite or 7-up. It tastes really good and is pretty easy to drink. If that fails, there is always the strawberry daquiri as a back-up. One of the things you need to remember, is that any beverage with cream in it, gets curdled by the alcohol when it mixes with your stomach acid. If you are only going to have a couple, a kahluha and cream or a white russian are okay, but do NOT drink any other alcoholic beverages with these! Hope that helps :)

If you're looking for higher than 8% alcohol, you'll need to stick to liquors, not a drink like beer, cider, or 'alcopops' such as Smirnoff Ice.

Now adays, many things like rum and vodka come in fruit flavors, usually more tropical for rums and more berry for vodka.

If you had a sensitive (read: unadept or otherwise uncultued) pallate, stay away from whiskeys or tequilas which, unlike most rums or vodkas you find on the market, are often distilled for sipping, not for mixing.

However, if you're looking for The Power, go for a fortified wine, something that, if you can stomach wine, will go down far too easily. We're talking Mad Dog 20/20 or Richard's Wild Irish Rose. Warn ye that these are cheap and may not go down as easy as a mixed drink.

Margarita - extra lime, no salt. That's my favorite drink. Absolut Mandarin with a shot of OJ is also very good. As are Mojitos (clear rum, lime, mint - yum) However I am told that a really strong drink is a rum-runner. It's made with 150 proof rum and some fruit juices. I Never had it but heard it's one of the strongest drinks out there. Most bars don't even stock the 150 proof cause it's so strong.

As far as easy on the stomach, have a glass of ice water alongside your drink. Sip your drink and the water alternately. I do that with my margaritas and never have a hangover the next day, no matter how many I have.

Cinnamon schnapps like warm rattling! (the exclamation element is component to the call, lol) it truly is yummy, very low alcohol, might want to be mixed with seltzer, sipped instantly or taken as a shot. I loved this stuff for years only because i might want to drink way more effective on the club/bar because the alcohol content fabric is so low. I nonetheless recommend having each and every 2d or third drink be water however, warm rattling! has numerous sugar in it.

Try a Negroni: a 5-pour of good quality gin; a 3-pour of sweet vermouth; a 1.5-pour of Campari, and a dash of triplesec. Shake with ice, strain, and serve with a twist of orange peel. The Campari is a digestive, and makes this potent drink easy on the system. Don't have too many in one sitting!

I would go with a simple captain morgan and coke, it's very smooth, and can be easily doctored to your taste without changing the type of drink. Just remember, don't mix your types of alcohol!!!
