I have about 6-8 kids. I have already thought of singing a song or doing hand movements to a song..

How about a cute skit - a re-enactment of a part of one of the Veggietales Movies might be cute! Or maybe a skit with a morale to the story.

I used to work at a day care, maybe I can help. Ask your children to think of one thing they can remember about vbs. Have 3 children in the middle hold up the letters VBS. Maybe you can say "At VBS we learned," and have each person say what they learned. Kids are shy about talking in front of people. If you are energetic and crazy like me, (I would be right in the middle of it) we would all say something about vacation bible school. It does not have to be a long drawn out thing. Short and to the point.

We've talked about setting them up on stools on the stage and doing a "Art Linkletter show" with them. Don't know if you remember who this is, but asking kids questions and letting them just be honest and answer them is hilarious.
We've also choreographed some dance moves for them, guitars, sunglasses, 50's clothing and let them perform too to a taped song, it was darling.
