Congratulations on being okay! Colon cancer is a disease for which there is no excuse for a person dying from it. If you get check regularly, it can be fixed, even a big chunk of colon can be removed and you can have a normal life. It mostly kills when allowed to spread. Cancer does have an upside (LOL!), once you have survived it, you realize how unimportant everything in the world expect happiness and loved ones really is, and you can enjoy each day as a free gift! (I do it every day. 4 years and still breathing)

Ofethrdl-Since you are so into "nutrician" I'm surprised you aren't aware it's spelled "nutrition", but maybe that's different in your country? I also enjoyed your vivid (but completely misguided) description of polyps! (which is spelled "pollups" in your strange land?) LOL

Google the word. You might learn something!

No. I'm 25. I'll start checking when I'm in my 40's.

I'm not a high risk candidate;
Age. The risk of developing colorectal cancer increases with age. Most cases occur in the 60s and 70s, while cases before age 50 are uncommon unless a family history of early colon cancer is present.

I started the yearly butt telescope exams when I turned 30 because of my family history. I had a grand parent who lived his last twelve years doing his bizzness in a pouch. MAN I do not want to go that way! I wish you luck with your new experience. It's very awkward at first, but you come to accept it.

OK that's good advice, but what is better advice is start eating right and stop thinking you can put all manner of crap into your body and not have to pay the consequences.
