You don't mention how old he is, however, no communication between two friends usually says that one has a problem with the other one. In the teenage years, (14-19), some guys just don't have the emotional mindset to deal with serious relationships. This may be the case. He probably hasn't talked to you, because he doesn't know how to tell you something like that.

Best get used to guys not calling when you think they should. Its something that never gets better. Men definately don't think like women think. And they don't worry about the things women do.. Somethings they do, yes.. but don't get emotional like women. But yea.. I would call him and ask whats going on.
