Yes. It's similar to getting a perm, but instead of putting rollers in they comb it out while the relaxer is in. It worked really well on my hair and my hair is VERY curly naturally.

Well white peoples hair is straight so when you process or perm your hair it's to make it curly. I wouldn't suggest you go to the store and buy perm not knowing what you are doing. Check with your stylist before doing anything.

Yes, you can. It's a reverse perm- they comb the hair straight with the solution in it to help straighten it.

Well I think you'd have to get your hair fried... But that's way too horrible for your hair so don't try it.

no, if ur hair's straight, u can get it permed 2 get it curly, but i guess any1 can relax/perm ther hair.

SOME OF THESE PEOPLE THAT ANSWERED ARE SO WRONG. WHITE PEOPLE CAN PERM THEIR HAIR. IT MAKES THEIR HAIR CURLY NOT STRAIGHT. BLACK PEOPLE, WHEN THEY PERM, IT MAKES THEIR HAIR STRAIGHT.
