How do you think this would this affect Christian religion?

Of course, I'm thinking things like skeletal remains or something of the sort. Something that could be tested/carbon-dated, whatever.

As the Apostle Paul said, "if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith". (I Corr. 15:14)

Any questions?

If Jesus' body were found and it could undeniably be proven to be his, it would, in effect, cancel out his entire ministry. Christianity cannot survive without the resurrection. Ergo, proving the resurrection false would destroy the religion itself.
However, it would be very difficult to prove that any skeletal remains found are Jesus'. It would be harder still to convince the Christian faithful that they are his.

I they did find a body, that would mean that the bible was lying. When they re-entered his tomb, they found no body, and so there will never be a body to find. If they did find a body, it would mean that christianity was a lie.

It would end it. No, there would still be hangers on - like the JW's after all their predictions fell apart, but the real religion would cease.
