I called this guy on Friday and he didnt return my call. He's done this before so I vowed to myself that I wouldn't call or text him anymore. Then he calls me yesterday to see what Ive been up to and apologize for not calling over the weekend, he was out of town. Im not sure if it was a courtesy call, or if he wants me to still call him. Should I stick to my vow or is that petty?

Out of Town? cell phones work wherever you are. You are not being petty, If a person says they are going to do something then they should do it!

Stick to your vow at least until he practically begs you to call him. Its not petty to call him if you want, but I still think you should stick to your vow for a little while.

Probably a bit petty. How well do you know him? some men get busy and there not the phone kinda guys. They don't have the cell in hand all the time. Now if on the other hand he is constantly answering his cell phone and talking to other and didn't call I might say the opposite. Have a good one:-)

I think you should stick to your vow because I've been where you are and i didn't stick to my vow and i found out that he only called me because of a bet.So if i were you I'd stick to my vow.

It's a little petty. He called and said he was out of town. You should give him the benefit of the doubt until he proves untrustworthy.

if he was truly out of town and called to apologize, i would forget what you said and go on with life because its way too short to worry about the little things. dont sweat the petty things, pet the sweaty things
