make em wear pullups when ya go out and give em a treat if they dont poo or pee on themselves. . As for the crying, I don't know. Kids seem to express themselves a lot by crying especially when they are bored or uncomfortable.

How old is the child? My daughter was potty trained 2 yrs ago, still have accident once a while. VEry importantly is not to yell or embarress your child. "Lets find bathroom and change clothes" sure encouraged her that accidents happens!!

Make no fuss about it. Children should not be punished for such things. Believe it or not it can be very embarrassing for them. I always get the kids to sit on the toilet before we leave and at every available washroom on route even when they say they do not have to go. Good luck.

well, it is upsetting!!! talk to them, and let them know that accidents do happen, that it's ok, and not their fault!! give them ample time in the bathroom before leaving the house, and depending on the age, maybe discussing it w/ a pediatrician will help, there could be psychological or medical reasons for it

Dont make a big deal out of it. Its already embarrassing enough for your kid. Theres no need to make them even more humiliated and ashamed. Try using a soft voice, and if they cry, just say "I know its embarrassing... Happens to everyone." And bring spare clothes everywhere too, just in case.

crying is a natural reaction for that. its probably is because he or she is embarrased of what has happened. you just need to reassure him or her that its ok that it was just an accident and try to get them out of the situation as soon as possible

By not making a big deal out of it...they'll see your facial expressions and know what you're thinking...reassure them and take them to the restroom.
