Usually the violation codes are listed on the back of the fixed penalty notice.

Look on the back or the bottom of the ticket and the codes should be there. If not call the local police station and ask them. Did they stop you for speeding, no blinker, usually they tell you why you are getting a ticket. If parked, maybe it was a no parking zone.
