I suppose that all depends on what you believe. It's possible with Global warming and all of the recent disasters (hurricaines, terrorism, etc) that it is getting close to the end of time.
Some folks are goung to say no, but look beyond the surface and do some spiritual reading and you'll be able to decide for yourself.

I often think about this. I think the Indian Ocean tsunami of 2004 would seem like a sign! However, worsening storms and other acts of nature are a result of human influence, not signs the apocalypse.
As far as wars are concerned, well, man has always been violent and has always been at war for one reason or another. Who's to say it's any worse than it has been, historically? No, I don't think they are signs, either. When the end times come, I think we'll know it!

Well every time trouble breaks out in the world, people start saying it's signs of the end of the world. I don't know why. I don't think people want it to be. Yet that is always one of the first things to start going around. I do not believe it's the end of the world, and the fact is if you look back throuh history there have been many worse times in the world than now.

the real sign of the end times is never before in history up until this time has there been in place the technology and world structure that would allow the prophecies to be capable of being fullfilled. worldwide monetary systems or world govt...most of the end time prophecies would need the current level of technology and communication to even be possible....wars and storms have always been going on...that doesnt say it to me yet...if it gets much worse it would though lol.

No - whenever things changed or uncommen things happened people believed this would be the end of times. This is as old as mankind. The Bible is full of this and other ancient books, too. In 1910 upon the arrival of Haley's comet hundreds commited suicide because they thought this would be the end of times. My guess: when it comes to the end of times it will come without anyone noticing before.

Yes, I do. I believe that Jesus return is near, as the Scriptures tell us of the sign of the times, although we do not know the hour.
The Bible says that Jesus will come like a thief in the night. Time is short, so let's spread the Gospel while there is yet time.

If that were happening... well no I still wouldn't think so. But regardless my point is that the world isn't in any more turmoil than usual, natural or otherwise. This is the state of the world and has been... well pretty much all of recorded history. You're seeing signs where there are none. I mean come on, you really think there's more fighting going on in the world now than there was during.... oh... let's say... I dunno... WWII?

I think this question has been asked by someone, every day, since the Great Flood.
We should worry, but not in the sense of panic. Make sure that what's on the inside of you is prepared for the coming of Christ.

No, the weather patterns are similar to the ones back during the 1930's (heavy rain near the coasts and drought near the center). Political tensions were bad then too and we got through it.
