Ok....for the ones out there that think I am an idiot for not taking her in to the vet, I have talked to every vet in our town and no one can see her today, I want to treat her now while I am waiting to get in to see the vet! She is on an excellent diet and takes vitamins as well. She is from a rescue and her foster mom is a nurse, she said she had the same symptoms before and it was a bladder infection. I KNOW it could be something more serious, but, like I said...until she can be seen, I would like to give her something to make her more comfortable.

Ok, if YOU had blood in YOUR urine, would you be asking about it here or would you be calling your doctor? Don't trust the people here with such an important question, call your vet!

I'll let you know after 6pm.We are taking our dog at that time to the vets. The same thing is happening to him.We had to get a emergency appt for him.He seems fine but he has blood in his urine. Not every time he goes so I am not sure what it is.I am hoping it's just a infection.I will ask the vet your question.I'll write more later.Good Luck! Just got back from the vet-She thinks he has a infection, gave him some pills, did some tests(We won't know the results for a few days) There is not two much you can do except try to get your dog to drink alot of water. This vet said make it cold and put a little sugar.(I am not sure if that's a good idea)She was not his regular vet.We called and called all over for someone to see him today. It was not easy and very expensive. They are worse than people doctors. She said most dogs get these infections this time of year and alot of times go unnoticed because people do not see the blood as opposed to the winter when you can see the blood in there urine,I guess in the snow.He seems to be fine, a little mad because they poked him.Good Luck with your dog!

not that I know of, you need to take her to a vet. I had a dog that was very prone to bladder infections, meds are not that expensive.
