well, everyone is different...do you have any specific cultural backgrounds in mind? I am Mexican-American, and as a teacher, I do not believe I would have too difficult a time relating to my students. I know that there are differences, but the whole thing about a classroom is that the teacher and her students learn from each other and about each other. Being accepting to the differences in everyone is the key. If that is established from the very beginning of the school year, hopefully the relationship will blossom into something very memorable.
