In my view Judaism, Christianity and Islam are a continuum, whose past chains include Abraham, Noah and Adam himself.

Ultimately Judaism, Christianity and Islam share the belief that there is only ONE GOD, although there are minor differences in the interpretation of who that LORD IS.

The three faith also share the concept of obedience to the MIGHTY ONE, as well as the concept of FREE WILL.

The religion of ISLAM in its core meaning represents OBEDIENCE to the MOST HIGH WILLINGLY. If there was no command of the MIGHTY ONE or we did not have FREE WILL, in either case ISLAM would not exist.

Judaism from my personal view is the establishment of the root of ISLAM or OBEDIENCE to the MIGHTY ONE, which alone can ultimately give peace to Mankind. Abraham established the rules of obedience by circumcising himself, Ishmael and male members of his household as a sign of commitment and adherence to the laws of Obedience.

Moses brought more elaborate laws that strenthened the seed sown by Abraham, which had managed to survive even through four hundred years of slavery under the Pharoah.

Moses firmly estbalished the laws of Mercy, so that the seed of monotheism may be blessed and prosper into a larger tree. Joshua, David and others established the system firmly. The potted plant was finally sown into the garden of the Almighty.

When the tree bore fruit of mercy, Jesus became available to offer this fruit to the nations, so they may also benefit from the blessings of accepting the MIGHTY ONE and obeying him. However Jesus got two reactions. One from the Jewish folks who said you can not offer the fruit of our tree to the gentiles as you are doing. The second reaction was from the Romans who saw Jesus as a potential trouble maker, a king. In my view the softer image of the Romans was cultivated by men who came from Rome and were strongly nationalists.

When the fruit of the tree of Israel was taken and offered by Jesus, leading to his arrest and later alleged murder (sic), his little community was shattered and spread across the World. They were somewhat succesful in turning the Romans but were stopped by Persia, the outpost of the week.

When the fruit was essentially stopped in the track, the Lord almighty raised Prophet Mohammad, who was born in 570 CE (AD) and died in 632 CE. The Lord Almighty in my belief sowed the seed of monotheism in Arabia just as Abraham had done in his own family and in Canaan. He preserved the sapling with good works, money, sacrifices and patience, as anger against him and his faith increased among the Arabs, who did not wish to see the rise of Judaism in their midst.

Nevertheless, through the help of the Almighty, the Prophet won against the heaviest of odd after his own family was opposing him, his city state was against him and he had far few friends and many many enemies.

Ultimately he succeded in not only establishing monotheism firmly in the World, and showed that the LORD MOST HIGH is very much capable of establishing monotheism and the love of righteousness in any group or nation. OUR PROPHET mohammad put the names of Moses, David and Jesus on the lips of millions upon millions.

Ultimately they have a lot more common (except the worship of Jesus) between the three faiths than differences.

Please take care.

Jews, Muslims, and Christians are 3 religions in a line of religions that take their main focal points from Zoroastrians. That was an earlier religion, believed by some to be the father or moden abrahamic religions.

All 3 religions tracetheir roots to othe figure of Abraham and his One "ture" god.

In that all 3 actually are dovoted to the same god. the God of Abraham. The ways and devotions differ as well as their minor laws, while most major laws (such as killing is wrong) are the same.

Other ways they are related is the fact that the 10 commandments in Christianity are the 10 most important of the almost 400 Jewish commandmants!

Also, the Islamic Prophet of Jesus (Son of God to Christians) is portroyed more vividly in the Qur'an than in the Gospels (a fact that most dodnt know)

Hope this helped.

A) Judaism was the second religion to ascribe to the belief in there being only one God, an omnipotent Deity with no equals. The first, Atenism, didn't outlive its founder, the Pharaoh Akhenaton.

B) Fulfilling the promises made in the Jewish Torah and the prophets, next came Jesus of Nazareth and from His followers was Christianity born.

C) Finally came Islam.

All have the following in common:

1) There is only one God
2) The idea that God gives a damn about us.
3) That He gives us all we need to join Him in eternity.
4) All subscribe to a code of ethics and morals found in the words of their deity's revelation.
5) All subscribe to the need for certain rituals, regularly performed, which have as their aim, a closer, deeper relationship with that deity.
6) All make promises about a person's future if said person follows the rules and regulations set down in each's belief system, its ethos and theology.

From Judaism came Christianity. From an amalgam of these came Islam.

Their raisons d'etre, however are very different.

Judaism cemented a loosely confederated group of semi-related nomads into a cohesive nation.
Christianity sought unity as well, but for ALL the peoples of Earth, not just Jews.
Islam originally sought tribal unities just as did Judaism, but now seeks world unity just as does Christianity.

Think of Judaism as a wise old grandfather, rather set in his ways.
Think of Christianity as a robust man in his prime, doing great things and sometimes screwing up, but still trying.
Think of Islam as a rambunctious adolescent with a hot temper, who isn't yet quite sure of what he wants to be when he grows up.

Judaism is the parent, and Christianity and Islam are siblings... or cousins, maybe. At any rate, Allah is the same old jealous, petty, capricious, mass-murdering psychopathic Abrahamic diety of desert monotheism that is described in the Old Testament... Yahweh... Jehovah... whatever.

Christians seem to think that around 2,000 years ago, this diety developed some kind of Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD), in which he manifested a hippie-like personality (Jesus... spent some time on earth... can now be eaten in the form of a cracker), and some Casper the Ghost-like character with pedophilic tendencies (suspected of having impregnated a 12 or 13 year-old virgin... and being honored for it).

The Moslems, however, do not share that belief; they see him as his same-old psychopathic self, essentially unchanged since his old-testament days... except that he seems to have updated his reward system about 1,500 years ago, when he started handing over virgins (in heaven) to be defiled by insane zealots, as a show of gratitude for them having carried out mass-murder and killing themselves in his name. (I think that's what happens to Catholic nuns, after they die. Where else would they find enough virgins?)

Sweet.

I find him very interesting to note that most Christians... including Christian preachers... haven't got the slightest clue about the historical roots of their own religion, let alone any other religion.

another relationship would be they were all created by the same 5 extraterrestrial reptillian mamillian hybrids in the mystery schools of babylon further back then our history reaches as a tool to distort, divide, and control the masses as well as to divert energy from our own "stream" if you will and send it to the stomachs of these beasts for their consumption.they also become more powerful when our energy goes towards warshiping their sun(the dog star sirius) which all these messiahs are metaphors for(jesus, balder, horus, etc.)

they all worship the same God. all believe the same prophets. the only differences are over Jesus, Abraham, and Mohammad. but despite that all 3 religions have many similarities. for example, judaism and islam both only eat kosher meat, no swine, etc. and the rituals of a funeral are the same.

islam and christianity broke off from judaism.
judaism and islam are monotheistic, christianity is debatably monotheistic.

judaism follows jewish law. christianity did away with the law. and islam has its own laws.

and my own personal opinion is that we don't worship the same G-d, since we define someone by their personality, and its clear that the gods of judaism, christianity, and islam are radically different.

just some quick points.

Islam and Judaism don't support that Jesus died for us to save us and that he is the Son of God. (Considering that, the similarities don't really matter...they believe that Abraham and Moses and such existed, and in God obviously)

They all believe in God but the knowledge that God is love needs to be made more clear across the board.
