I just walked out of a relationship because the person was seeing someone else behind my back and did not have the guts to be up front and tell me about it. I had to drag it out of him. Now he wants us to forgive each other and for all of us remain friends (including the other woman who was an acquaintance of mine)

Well, it's possible, but it takes alot of time. Not everyone can be friends with an ex, and not everyone can forget or be so forgiving towards that person either. Time will take the pain away, eventually. And trust will have to be brought back to even think of being friends with these people. However, I wouldn't even try to be friends with them right now. Tell him exactly how you feel, then walk away to heal.
