Forget any medications, all that can be currently prescribed are basic 'happy pills' that will affect every part of your personality. I agree with some of the other answers that behavioral and psychological remedies are most effective in this situation [such as taking a few minutes and meditate]. They do sell "Stress tabs" it has a few different type Vitamin B's in it.
St. John Wort also has known to help relieve stress.
Both of these are available in most grocery stores.

exercise helps a lot, seriously. it releases endorphines into your body which relieves that "stress" thing. Or just get rid of the person that is giving you the stress if thats possible. But seriously, exercise or if you like reading read, or writing. I get online at pogo.com and it calms my mind enough to lower my stress level.
