I don't see what the big deal is myself. I personally like older men because they are mature and they are more into being in a relationship than most younger guys are. I'm not saying a 13 year old should be able to go out with a 25. I think they should lower the age of consent to 15 or 16.

Boiys my age are still playing with there X-boxes. All they want to do is focus on how pretty a girl looks and they don't care about their personality. Younger guys are shallow and they take too long to ask a girl out.

And teenage boys never ask me out because they are imtimadated by me baceuse I'm suppose to be the "pretty girl" To all you teenage boys out their you need to step you game up.

I agree thaat maybe the age of consent should be lowered, but from what i have seen in the past year is that a lot of older men will be given oppurtunities and they will take advantage of that, or the girls will become irresponsible and start dating guys that are too old for themselves. Then be in a situation where they cant get out of the relationship or something happens they dont want to. I have seen it happen which ruins things for the girls who are mature enough to date within resonable boundries. I hope this helps.

No! it's against the law. Anyone 13 shouldn't be with someone who's 25. I don't think that the age should be lowered to 15 or 16. Teenagers be able to date people over 18.

No they should stay with someone that is thier age, because they are going through the same things that the other person is. ie; getting thier license how is a 23 year old going to understand what it is like to go for thier license, when they already did that years ago. It's just not a good idea to date someone older than you when you are a teenager, wait unit after you are 21.

I dissagree. Primarily because many older men who would want to have relations with a young woman are preditors. Many of the young women who get pregnant are impregnated by older men who then do nothing to support the child. This is something that you should be aware of.
Of course the double standard does apply. I mean that a boy of 16 is not hurt by getting some sweet lovin from an older woman. He cannot be impregnated and left to fend for himself and his child. Do you get it?

YOu should stick to dating ppl yin your own age range. Personally, I don't see anything wrong with dating older guys, but it's best to date someone a yr younger, your age, or a yr older. But try to stick with guys your own age. For teenagers, one yr apart is considered pretty big. Cuz every yr they change. Even a yr apart could be a big gap.

I believe that most laws permit "dating" between those over 18 and those under 18. It's physical interaction that's illegal - I doubt that most 15 year olds (man or woman), whatever they've been exposed to, are ready for the emotional magnitude of that.

i think that if the age difference isn't too intense, then it's okay. i like a guy that's a few years older than me + i like him because he's way more mature than most of the guys my age. if you like somebody that's a bit older than you i say you should go for it cuz you never know what might happen

hey we think alike!!! they do need to lower the age!! i am tired of my mom telling me that if she finds out that i am going out with someone over the age of 18 she will call the police!! i am so tired of it!! all of my exes have been at least 3 or4, or even more, years older than me!! just like u said, they r more mature!!!

Date yes but have sex i would say no. Only b/c it's illegal and if your parents found out you were having sex with someone over 18 they could have them up in jail. not a good thing to do to someone you love
