hey im mariah im 21 and in love with this guy he is 36 and he think im way to young but we have been talking for along time now and he think im not serious with him but i am what should i do ?

You need to get over him. He is 16 years older than you and he is probably looking for a wife because he's been an adult for a long time and you've just begun. You'll only make it worse for you and him because now days people think that an older guy dating a younger girl at that age is bad news and some would say a pervert. I'm not saying he is but thats whats going on in others heads. Your making life far more difficult than it has to be. He is right, your way to young for him. I'm sorry for you. I have been there and its painfull but you cant love him because that age difference will ALWAYS be there. A man can be the most perfect in the world but then theres that one small fault and it could ruin the intire thing. Dont overlook that fault.

P.S. Froggie, just how many people were okay with that? Dont give out advice that doesnt tell the whole story thats not fair to her. Besides in your marrige SHE was older. Thats totally different guys have hormones that girls dont have and you know what I mean.

You are over legal age (18), the fact that he is older than you means nothing, when my wife and I married she was 19 and I was 33. We had a wonderful 20 years together before she was killed in an accident.
