The book is a classic and one that I read numerous times. It has helped countless people on their Journey.

oh my!!!! i just read that book last summer and i LOVED it. it is very much a classic, and it's so peaceful too. i loved it so much i read several other hesse books.

I LOVED that book, it made a profound difference in my life, I HAD to read it when I was in high school, and because I'm a procrastinator I put it off until the last minute and read the WHOLE thing the day before the report was due, and WOW!I had no trouble going right through it without breaks, it was a real page turner. And has made a complete difference in my life even now as an adult on how I view the world! I think everyone should read it (even if it is not required reading). I think the world would have a lot less hate in their hearts if they understood and abided by the philosophy represented in this book.
