If it were natural, than why did god invent clothes? lol.
Actually I think Julep might be onto something, I can think of a thousand people I see every day that I'm glad I don't have to see naked. There are some things men's minds are just not meant to contemplate and there are some sights men's eyes are not meant to see. Besides, I know that drivers insurance rates would seriously go up fast with all the accidents that would happen during the summer.

Unlike animals, humans have the intelligence and sensitivity to realize that a baby that is fathered by a person, should be taken care of by the person who makes it, in addition to his mom.
Nudity is an invitation to sex, unless everyone is nude or everyone is a child of a very young age. That is why eye brows are not raised if you see a nude baby or even a two year old. Human males particularly and to a certain extent females are designed to see nudity as a precursor to sexual activity. Males are more conditioned to get sexual messages visually while females are designed to respond to touch, although both have capabilities to be turned on by either senses. Men by and large are the sex that has the least to lose and is most equipped to initiate a sexual encounter and has the most to gain in the process. See and WANT and have is the mode of operation of males, who do not need emotional bonding to initiate sex.
Thus more male nudity is accepted than female nudity, as a man's breast may not have the same affect on a female as a female's exposed breast has on a male. In any case, sex that does not take place within the bounds of commitment and marriage lead to children who have to be either killed or would be raised by only one party or would be abandoned and raised by good strangers or in some cases people who wish to exploit children for personal gain. If contraception worked, we would not have two million abortions in an advanced country like US of A.
Thus ultimately nudity is the precursor to hurting little children and babies. far fetched as this conclusion may seem. Many may not put this together immediately as there are many chains that lead to this result, but people intrinsically understand how it can affect lives and thus take nudity very seriously. It is the beginning attempt of a chain that will result in the partial killing of the human species in small sections and we all are naturally endowed to eschew actions that damage our species as we are all naturally equipped with the knowledge for self preservation.
I hope this makes sense.

because some can not controle themselves... it aint the being nude... it is what is done while nude that causes the problem...
For the first answerer... who sets the standard for who looks good and who dont?
From a Christian Faith pov... the lack of contorl stems from original sin... most find the lusting hard to control so they impliment nudity laws... for the most part those restrictions are needed to keep an orderly scocity... But out in the wood where that is limited exposure optherwise or in a shielded yard...why not... I think it is much more comfortable sans clothing most of the time... but I do'nt do it for exibitionism... which The first answerer is thinking all is. so only the "good look'n" should do it...
If that were the case all the nude beaches would be empty

HI
It has to do with how we are raised and while the nude body is a beautiful thing it must be treated with the utmost respect. A good example I can come up with is men are known to be very visual creatures they are sexually stimulated a female that is scantily clad. I have been raised to believe in modesty and respect for my body and that husband or significant other should be the only one who gets to see or touch. I have often had alot of men tell me that women today leave little to the imagination by the way they dress. Men like to imagine what a woman has on under her clothes and not have it hanging out there for the world to see.

At some point in history, people began to regard the human body as a personal and private part of their being.
If we look at most religious oriented cultures , we can see how modesty relates to the exposure or over-exposure of the human body.
What was once considered a Temple of worship, has in modern society been turned into something to be spurned and hidden away.

Because several religions have found that by making a person suppress their sexuality, they are easier to 'control'.Ever wonder why Pagans seem to be more relaxed, and Christians or Muslims seem so uptight all the time?Pagans get nekked for fun( well, allot of us do!), that's why.And I'm not just talking about sex (even though that's fun too!), I'm talking about nekked just to be nekked!

Because Mr. Adam and Ms.Eve ate the apple from the tree of knowledge they saw they were nakid and were ashamed.
If they listened to the big guy we would be running around nakid tending the garden and multiplying.
