I really like 8 minute abs. first it's only 8 minutes. second it keeps you on track with a set of exercises and a set time. The guy on it is REALLY annoying, but once you do the video once you can mute it and turn on music or something.

Good Luck! as a runner you are probably one of the best candidates for defined abs.
Caveat: I have heard that some people will never get the definition they crave in abs because of genetic factors.

Crunches dude.. lots of those.. like 50 a day if not more.. or as many as you can. you can also modifyu the crunch to be harder and more involved. you can elevate your legs either with a chair or somethign or you can hold them up yourself with yoru abs while doing the excersise.. thats even harder. another one is the bicycle where you go into crunch position but lift everythign below your hips and then bring the elbow to the opposite knee and then back and tehn with the other elbow to the other knee and repeat over adn over. work those abs man!

holding lefts. go to a total gym do a pull up and left your legs until they are 90 degrees hold for 5 sec then do again this time hold for 7 sec keep doing 20 reps of each 5,7,3,7 you'll feel the burn. remember to use hot water treatment if your not using to doing ab workouts cuz it will hurt like hell the next day. 3-4 weeks and you'll see big results.

Usually you can find an incline bench at some parks they have a strap on the top to hod your feet. that is a brutal ab workout. it starts burning within 3-5 reps

simple basic crunches, from up to down, to rotating left to right, cross your legs or ankles and place them on top of your bed or couch with the back of your thighs up against the object.
