No, but there are places where the level of thought tends to be more in depth than "if we evolved from monkeys why are there still monkeys".

What do you never talk about in polite company?
Answer: Sex, Religion and Politics.
Because everyone tends to be very opinionated and passionate about each subject that it will never completely coincide with someone else's beliefs.
Unless you're of the exact same belief system as the other person, chances are your opinions are going to clash.

I'm a member of one. It is primarily pagan-based but members of all faiths are welcome... provided that they are respectful of the beliefs of others. But discussions there range from Wicca to Christianity to Satanism to Santeria and beyond.
They can exist. It just takes a certain mindset on the part of the participants... and a devoted Moderating staff...

Do you sail? I have a Faith under Sail group in Yahoo groups. I'm starting to think that the idea of christian sailors is an oxymoron. But if you want to talk about your faith there even if you aren't into boats and sailing you are most welcome.
