Anyone else like 'doing' their cats pads?
When my cat is my knee I like squeezing her pads, its very therapeutic. She doesnt mind and actually seems to like it.
Most people I tell seem to think it's some sort of bizzare fetish.
But they are just so squashy I can't help it.
Anyone else tried it it. Or am I weird

when a cat is ill or feeling blue they always love there pads stroked, my cat daisy may gave birth to 3 lovely kittens today bless her,mini portions of pads ahhhhhhhhhhh

It does sound a bit weird! But before I judge you, and I'm feeling stressed today, I will go and find my friendly ***** cat( the other one would have my fingers off) and have a squeeze of her pads.

No you're not weird. I expect the cat's enjoying it just as much as you.
I used to do the same with my cat (may she rest in peace)
now I do similar to my guinea pigs... they seem to like having their paws squeezed only lightly though.
Holding and petting any animal is therapeutic.
after all we humans like reflexology so why not animals??!!!??

No i think thats ok. I like to hold my cats paws, like we are holding hands on the sofa. I do touch his pink pads sometimes, can't resist them, but he pulls away after about 2 0r 3 touches..
yeah and stretched toes is difficult not to feel !!

No i do not furnish a mattress or napping pad for my cats as they go with their own places to sleep. desire I responded your question ok. i do not get the intently part of the question, perchance you recommend you're making the cats mattress with careful attempt to verify that is smooth i assume?!

they are soft, i just lay on my back and let the cat walk on my back. feels good when they push their paws into your back. i think it's something to do with the purring that makes it feel therapeutic, ever notice that part of it? but yeah, cats seem to love it when you push on thier paws, they push right back and purr a lot.

I massage my kitty's pads too! And she likes, she starts to purr! Sometimes I rub E45 cream into them to keep then soft. But only a little drop mind you, dont want my kitty getting sick.

not weird. Just love cats.... who can blame you, they ARE the coolest animals ever. My cat (flipflop) would like it for a short while before attempting to sever my limbs!!! You gotta love 'em!!!

Squeezing is normal compared to me, I used to like smelling my cats paws (RIP sniff sniff), they have a lovely smell. Try it, you might just agree with me!!
