we're like the cool guy at the party...everyone wants to be our friend but doesn't know how to approach us. then, when one person gets in good with us, all theothers get jealous and angry. they spread rumors and throw toilet paper over our house.

we don't try to be so cool...at night, we stay home and cry lonely tears because no one ever approaches us and everyone makes fun...they just don't understand!

I don't think it's really the average Jew that people are concerned with. It's the Zionists that bother people, the ones that have so much control over Western governments and have implemented so many of the negative policies in effect today.

For example, Jews make up only 2 percent of the US population yet 10 Representatives of the House are Jews. I'm not sure if this is still the case but one of the mayors of Houston is a Jew and the population of the city was like 1/2 percent Jewish. They have so much control of the media, education, publishing, etc. They seem to be disproprortionately represented for their numbers.

I suspect that the reason why European culture was anti Jewish was a mixture of religion, especially the view of Jews as god killers promoted by some preachers, and the distinctive and insular nature of Jewish communities. The fact that the Jews where the only group who could legally lend money for interest, also increased feeling against them, as they became a rich, insular minority.

In the Muslim world it is almost entirely due to the issue of Israel.

Though the Gentiles are given opportunity to be grafted in, the Jew have, from the beginning , taken seriously God's word and the instruction that He gave us to live blessed lives, the 'law' as people like to call it was not given for God's benefit, but to benefit man, but the world and today's christians have rejected and have rejected the blessings that come with it as well. Many people want to walk around claiming God's promises but not live the life of blessing in the manner that God has told us how. The Jewish people as a whole take God's promises seriously, they obey the commands of the Lord, they do not mock the Lord so they enjoy much deserved earthly blessings and live a blessed life. The rest of the world has an attitude that they are entitled to certain things but do not want to have to work for them or earn them in any way- we have become a selfish, spoiled people and because of this we end up looking at thos who are more blessed as undeserving and with jealousy. Same instance different story, I grew up poor and my parents were always mocking, putting down and looking down their noses at rich people- well, now I see that most of those people have what they do by hard work, dedication and a seriousness about hteir work and their lives- they deserve what they have and are entitled to use it any way they choose- same with the Jewish people- they have operated under certain laws that God set in motion at the beginning of time and have enjoyed fruitful lives because of it.

And BTW the Jewish people STILL are God's chosen people, we are grafted in by the GRACE of God- we have no right to be haughty or prideful because now we are accepted because we could just as easily be cut off by our own pride and self exaltation. I tell you if 1/2 the Christians today took Torah more seriously and made an attempt to liveo ut God's perfecti nstruction rather than look down their noses at the Jewish people (which we are commanded NOT to do) the world would be a lot better place and more Christians would really see the promises they are constatnly trying to claim begin to flourish in their lives

The major world body these days is the UN, and the UN is influenced very much by European countries.

Europe has many, many good points -- but one of its bad points is that it has a history of anti-Semitism.

So the remnants of this attitude still linger to a great extent at the UN, which (among other things) doesn't seem to recognize Israel's right to defend itself against terrorists.

Just today, the UN sec-general played the moral-relativism card again -- blaming both sides for the current Middle East conflict.

That's right -- he put Israel on an equal moral level with fanatics who capture Israeli soldiers and threaten to kill them, and who strap bombs on their chests and blow themselves up in crowded public places.

Shameful.

There are several reasons:
- They believe themselves to be "God's chosen people", and therefore behave as if they are far above all the rest of us, the "gentiles".
- They've got far more money than any other ethnic group, mostly due to their unfair merchandising practices, and the high interest rates they charge for lending money to the financially disadvantaged who are forced to borrow from them.
- They are the most politically influential group in the US, because they practically "own" the Treasure of the nation.

The world isn't. Its people like you who are, and make them feel like ***** just because a lot of them are smarter than you are. If anything, the world is rightfully sorrowful for the Jews because of the horrific losses they suffered during the second world war.

I couldn't tell you. I didn't know they were.

Btw, Jews aren't God's chosen people anymore. He opened up his message to Gentiles (non-Jews) after the Jews rejected his Son, the promised Messiah.

Jews have been thrown out of spain, portugal (twice), england and france and italy over the past two millenia.
They have this self rightous air about them that pisses everyone around them off.

They are still pissing off the people that live around them. Their only reply to this is that "they are anti-semitic" but that is just name calling.

tom
OH btw: God chose me as his choosen one now. that's right MY GOD said that I'm the chosen one so now you all have to bow down to me.
(that is the same thing that jews are saying when they say that THEY are the chosen people. That is such hogwash!!!!

It's a pathetic attempt to use Jewish pple as a scape goat. I'm a Christian (i was brought up to believe in Christ) but i have never understood why are pple so freaked about by Judiasm. Just as uneducated, racist white pple use the Bible to justify that their are superior in their deluded minds, Jewish pple have also been a target for it. Why? Oh, b/c they say "Jews killed Jesus"..well morons Judiasm was the predominant relgioun of that time. I think Christians are freaked out by those who don't believe in Heaven. And fundamental Muslims hate everybody. I dunno. Its pathetic.

Well, the "they killed Christ" thing is all messed up, with Jesus and the diciples being Jewish and all, so logically, that can't be it. Course, there are most certainly a bunch of dim-wits out there who can't figure that out. So I'm going with the jealous because they're the chosen people answer.
