Well, from what I understand, a junior bridesmaid is someone who's too old to be a flower girl, a little too young to be a bridesmaid(and help out by throwing parties and running certian events and basically contributing time and money), but who is very special to the bride and groom.

You will most likely attend all of the showers and the rehearsal dinner, and you will walk down the aisle (this part could be way diffent at your sister's wedding) after the other bridesmaids, but before the flowergirl.

You will probably wear a dress that is either the same style as the other bridesmaids, or that is in the color your sister picks for her wedding color. A good dress for $17.50 is a great find!

Basically help her out. While you can't throw her a party or anything like that, there's literally hundreds of little things that you can do for her, stamp envelopes, put together wedding programs or favors, it really depends on what your sister has planned. BTW, I am the oldest in my family, and I had my 2 youngest sisters be jr. bridesmaids when I was married. They were 12 and 10. Make sure your sister likes the dress you found, she may want you to match the other bridesmaids...but let your mom handle all that, she's probably working on all that with your sister anyway.
