yes we do. We, as atheists, have the ability to reason beyond the inherited mental defense mechanism that is responsible for most people's belief in a god of some kind. It has been discovered that the belief in a diety who protects and brings you to a happy home when you die, is actually a natural reaction in our brains, to the knowledge that we will all die someday, and any day. This belief acts as a buffer for anxiety and depression that many would feel if it was proven god did not exist. And, we as atheists, have either reasoned above and beyond our natural instincts, or have been born without this mechanism in our brains, like a mutant with a special power to see through B.S.. So, I guess we are kinda special. And, now that I know these things, I cannot in good conscience, try to force the mental security blankets away from those who obviously need it.

You have just done an admirable job of illustrating the logical fallacy known as "The Argument from Incredulity", which is a subcategory of the 'Argument ad Ignorantiam" ("Argument from Ignorance"). Goog job!
The "The Argument from Incredulity" goes something like this: "I can't understand how this might have come to be; therefore, god did it."
That does not express a limitation of nature... it expresses a flaw in your thinking.
You might want to look up "God of the Gaps" (aka "The Divine Fallacy"), another logical fallacy that has some bearing on your misconception.
Your post also sets up another logical fallacy known as "The Straw Man Argument". That is where you set up a false premise, then address it as if it were true. In this case, you refer to people 'rejecting' god, which implies that someone 'believes' in god, and then decides to not acknowledge him (it?). To the contrary... I am not aware of anyone who 'rejects' god, although there a great many people who do not find that there is sufficient cause to entertain the idea that he even exists... probably for much the same reason that you don't believe in the Tooth Fairy. (You DO disbelieve the Tooth Fairy... don't you?)

I don't see many Atheists judging...they are attempting to get people to ask questions and examine their belief systems. Of course Christians consider questioning their faith to be a Sin and have to do pentance. Additionally, if they actually change their minds they become Heretics and are booted out of the Christian Church (or in the past burned at the stake because they disagreed/had a differing viewpoint on life/religion). Finally, Chfistians go on the war path defending their theology (which is fundamentally flawed) and attack the Atheists with bleep like your diatribe. LEARN SOMETHING ABOUT OTHER BELIEFS BEFORE YOU STATE THAT OTHERS ARE JUDGING YOURS! PEACE!!!

I don't reject God, I would have to believe a God existed in order to reject it. Yes an omnipotent being is so obvious, yet science not so, why didn't I see that before. As for judging people based on religion, I don't, I am married to a Christian.

It is not "obvious" to me. You want it to be. You find comfort in it explaining what you do not understand. I can accept there are things I will never know. I have studied religion. Not just one book. I am positive Christianity is taken from many earlier religions just as Islam is a mix of Judaism and Christianity.
You have your faith, faith: Aceptance of ideals, beliefs, etc., which are not necessarily demonstrable through experimentation or reason

lol.. for some reason u come across as kind of angry...! i say, don't worry so much why people are judging or not judging you, and focus on what you believe, and what u think u know is right. if you truly know and have faith in what you believe, it won't matter to you if someone is Athiest or someone is Christian. there is someone out there who is just as angry as you about their beliefs, and thinking that others are too ignorant, etc. no one is perfect... i think humans have good intentions, but when they try to force those intentions on others, it becomes a fight between who's Right or Wrong....and it ends in continuous, endless judgement and thinking badly about or looking down on other people who are different. i think we should embrace those differences, and respect those who believe, to their fullest, what they believe. if someone truly is at peace in what they know is right, NOTHING will phase them, nothing will upset them, nothing will have the power to shake them from their solid foundation of faith, or belief, or belief in knowledge, etc. if someone is not 100% at peace with what they believe, thats where constantly trying to prove YOU are RIGHT and EVERYONE is WRONG comes into play.

Atheists 'reject' God because they believe God is a myth. Atheists (and Christians, and, if I may be rude, you) judge people because it's fun to point at people-not-like-you and tell them they're inferior for their differences.
Frankly, you're coming off like a frothing idiot. Most people believe what they do because they think it's true, not because they want to believe. Unless you accept that fact, no-one who disagrees with you will listen to you.

We reject nobody. Why do you not embrace the love of the many other Gods out there? Why do you reject God as described by other believers?
