yeah, the best is to ignore that feeling and move on.
they're the ones who're missing on you!

I agree with you. A lot of people would rather take the easy way out by ending the call on a friendly note. It's much more difficult to end the call with "i'm probably not going to call you back for a few days".

Absolutely! Drove me crazy for years. But I must say the moment I stopped believing it every time I heard that - the times they didn't call back, I didn't mind, and the times they did, I was pleasantly surprised, even tickled.
If you can restrain, give it a try. I think it also creates a sense of "I'm happy whatever happens" that makes a girl more attractive. I actually found my current boyfriend that way.

I totally agree!!
Guys are so shallow and players.
That's what I hate about them, they NEVER keep their promise!!! Never at all...never will!
What's their problem??
Maybe they cant say they won't call u back because girls will think that they are being dumped and guys want lots of girls at the same time!!!

hey lady.. com one give us a break! i say that all teh time and i totally mean to call her back and tehn either we forget or somethign comes up.. but seriously if we don't call you back it doesnt mean we don't like you or dont wanna talk to you. (unless this always happens with one guy than maybe y0ou should talk to him about it and figure it out with him) but generally speaking we mean it when we say i'll call u back but then somethign happens so we can't... specially if you're a kid/teen whose living with parents and they practially control ur life.. cos stupid parents do that.. all the time...

that's the guy way of not hurting your feelings and keeping you in mind for a bootie call... it's soooo lame & disrespectful. ...but, i have to admit, it's a pretty good no-fail "sign" the universe gives to a woman that a guy's is NOT a Mr - Right - or - Mr - Right - Now.

Yep.
You know what it is though. They guys who say that and have no intention of really calling are just too chicken sh*t to be upfront. They lie to get out of it.

I totally agree...but when you say you'll call them and then don't...they get all mad.....its messed up that they can make up all kinds of excuses for not calling but if you miss one call they get all bent out of shape...its not right...double standards suck!

well it depends on the guy... it may be that he's trying to be nice... and considers a flat "no way... ever" a bit harsh... then again the majority probably just don't care whether they make you feel bad or not... which is sad?

yes, but when they say that just respond back and say, no better yet let me call you! and don't, leave them wondering why you haven't call back.
Play with their heads just like they play with ours.
good luck lover girl.
