We call those "Sick Days" as in "Oh I think I came down with a 24 hour virus and am vomiting all over the place, I can still come in if you want me to." "No that's OK why don't you just stay home and rest today." then go to the ball game or even just stay home and rest. If you are non religious you are probably quick witted.

What accommodations? What broad array of special rights and privileges? What exemptions? Give us some specific examples.
The only religious belief I've ever witnessed affect the workplace is when some Jews want to take the day off for Yom Kippur. But, they use a vacation day, so it's really not an accommodation any more so than for anyone else who is out on vacation day.

Did you not want to work on Sunday or Wednesday evening? Perhaps not work on Easter or Christmas, which are still a Christian holidays?
If that's the case, ask for those days or times of the day off in advance.
You were looking for a job when you found the one you are currently working.
What do you want to be exempt from? Handling pork products? What is it you want? Don't beat around the bush...Tell us, Sara.
Grace to you and God Bless!

>>>Religious believers enjoy a broad array of special rights and privileges unavailable to others who may want exemptions for non-religious reasons<<<
That's interesting. Can you give us some examples of what you mean?
If you post those examples here, please PM me so that I know you posted them. Otherwise, I probably won't be able to find them.

There are positively Christians who pick to circumvent all sorts of gay marriage or unions, or homosexuality itself. good success. One particular wrestle, in spite of the indisputable fact that, isn't no matter if gays should be granted each and each and every of the civil rights that hetero couples delight in, yet no matter if gays must have that union be called "marriage". For some human beings, the talk is about the be conscious, no longer the rights. "Marriage" to many potential the union of a guy and a lady. "Civil union" supplies you human beings rights with out marriage. God bless

As in what?
You know parents get special treatment as well, so what, you are there to do a job, not to worry about everyone elses.
I am a christian and no accomodations are made for me, i work monday through friday so if i want to go to church i do it on Sunday.
What kind of "accomodations" are you talking about?

In the interest of supporting the cherished freedom of conscience, I don't mind going a bit out of my way to allow my employees the freedom to practice their faiths. I don't feel at all cheated.

If Bush has his way (and he's having some success), Christians will have many more rights than people of other faiths.
