Go to a Brazilian store, buy any Brazilian coffee (trust me they are really strong!) and make them using an expresso machine. This thing is so strong that will keep you up for days!

The key to "good" strong coffee, is the "good" and "coffee" part.

You need to start out with beans that will have "good" robust, strong flavor to them. Make sure the beans are fresh (when you buy coffee beans at your favorite coffee store, take them home and store them in the freezer). Don't grind it up to a powder until you are ready to brew.

Now that you are ready to brew, grid it up fine (not too fine - it will clog the filter) use plenty of it, and brew. You can discover how much actual coffee you need to use to flavor to taste. If I'm brewing a whole pot of coffee, I use about 2 to 3 cups of grinds. (I like mine strong!)

Cheers!

I like the flavor of coffee, but not all the acids and bitter stuff, so I use a french press, and freshly ground beans, usualy columbian or french roast, cause they are very flavorful. In a french press you are pouring hot (not boiling) water over your grounds, and letting it brew to your personal darkness, not recycling the acids and bitters, like perculation, or having boiling water cover your grounds , like drip makers. I just prefer the french press taste much more. Nice and strong without being bitter.
Dont grind the beans really fine though, this causes more bitterness also, just a medium grind, and use good, clean water, not just tap water, unless you have well water.

If I want a stronger cup of coffee I will make it in the French Press as opposed to the drip coffee maker. Also, always use whole beans that you grind just prior to utilizing.

Grind up the Beans as fine as you can, then add some extra scoops to the coffee pot then brew your coffee, once its done send it throught the coffee pot again and you will have double Dark coffee thats extra hot too

start with good quality beans. that makes all the difference. buy a good coffee maker. when you are brewing, make sure that you are using enough powder or its not strong enough. and drink it when its hot...dont let the coffee sit around and lose flavour.

If you really want a good caffiene hit, snort it like coke (joke!).
Or else, get some extra strong coffee like rocketfuel (www.rocketfuel.uk.com) and dont poison it with milk or sugar!
