No I do not. To date, we have not been presented any evidence to the contrary. If there is a link, why keep it a secret? At this point, there would be little to gained by the US government in keeping such information classified.

If anybody does disagree, they are wildly misinformed. Al-Queda haded Saddam more than the US. Saddam was the dictator of a non-fundimentalist oil producing nation. Bin Laden probably was pretty happy when we made the mistake of invading. Now he has just that many more potential recruits that now hate the US. Al Zirquari (sic) was nothing prior to the Iraq invasion, then he became a willing recruit for the insurgency. Also the insurgency isn't a unified force, some of it is old Saddam types, some warlord controlled and some are Al Queda backed.

Saddam was a paranoid leader who conned everybody in the world to help him build his 13 Castles and imagined himself as the reincarnated King Nebbacanezer who also had no concern for his people and spent every penny in the country glorifying himself. This type of mindset created a nation of slaves and made enemies of neighbors and co-conspiritors alike. If there had ever been a relationship between the two men it had to have ended in an armed confrontation with neither individual able to pull the trigger to anialate the other.
