It happens to all of us. Usually a rebound relationship doesn't last because we jumped into it to ease the pain and weren't really weighing the options.

Half the time when you are dating someone 'on the rebound' it doesn't register that they are the rebound person after that intense 30 days is up. Classic thirty day, can't live without touching the other person, relationship.
I've never had a problem with it, if I was the rebound guy, I knew it, and if she was the rebound girl, she knew it also. I ended up marrying a rebound girl.

Always remember that the devil you know is better than a saint you don't know. That's why rebound is sometimes necessary and helpful. Again, you ought to have learnt some lessons and become more united. That's my opinion.

every time! i stopped believing in "rebounds", ha ha. if he's around and you like him, why not go for it. wait the requisite few months, and he could be with someone else.
on the other hand, it's probably not the healthiest thing in the world.

I did it once back in 1986 after a failed marriage and it helped me but was not fair to the woman who was interested in me because I was not emotionally ready for a relationship at that time.

My experience is that "Rebounds" begin wonderfully and generally end painfully.

I did it when I was younger and weaker emotionally. It takes away the sting of a break up.
