The Bible, and I am still reading it. Aside from the Bible the longest book I read and enjoyed was called "London". It was a history book about the birth of the city London and followed the lives of several families through the centuries. Very interesting.

Quicksilver by Neal Stephenson. 916 pages. Not that long, I know, but the longest I've read, and I've read a lot. I wanted to. Great book. Planning on reading the next two in the series.

all together they are more than 2000 pages long

because i like the books
