I work nights on a specialist ward for the NHS what do you do
Ps If you do have to work tonight a good shift x

No, I don't have to go to work now but I recall the time when I worked 7.30 pm to 7.30 am 6 and sometimes 7 days a week.
I never forget a colleagues' remark, "Only rats, bats, mice and black beetles work nights."
I used to arrive home when my wife was getting up. The bed was always warm. The real problem was I worked an alternate shift pattern: two weeks on nights and two weeks on days.
You are doing a great job and there will be many thinking of you tonight. Cheers.

Not usually my type of question i answer however, as only a few minutes before i'm back at work thought i'd answer u.
I'm a Dr. Psychchiatrist /Counselor to the long term mentally ill.
I too work nights and days 7 days a week and the rest of the time i'm oncall. I too work for the NHS usually working 16 - 18 hrs a day so dont worry ur not alone.

I am still at work, but on a break right now. And I am a hospital doctor, but not in the NHS. Good luck to you, and have a good shift as well!

i also work in a hospital , i am a porter and start work at 8pm doing a 12 hour shift

im in work now and i hate it so boring
i wanna feel like im doing something worthwhile
but i aint
9-5.30 mon to fri
i hate the fact that my break is at 1.15
so regardless of whether im hungry or not
i have to bloody eat its ridiculous!
and i hate that i know when i can pee?
like im 23 yrs old
o and i really really rewally have to stop moaning

Well i was suppose to go to work. Im a home health aide, but the lady i take care of just got sent to the hospital. OH WELL.........
