Haha! You would do that. Personally I applaud you for your biatchness in this instance. Cops need to be put in place with their shinny badges and glazed donuts.
I imagine if you present yourself in court as a fine a$s "flirty" Sweetie Pie. Then you might be able to get off with a warning.
But for me when I insulted Mr. Piggie he threatened to take me to "the dentist" so ya. Luckily you're a hot girlie.

What you did was absolutely uncalled for. Let's say you are home alone some night and there is a man trying to break into your house to assault you and whatever else. You'll probably end up calling those same officers that you just insulted. How nice, huh?
I don't understand why people are so disrespectful to our law enforcement personnel. Are there some "bad ones?" OF COURSE! There are some bad everythings! Lawyers, doctors, neighbors, etc. It is a good idea to have the police on your side. By acting childish like you did, is not going to accomplish that.

People like you are so irritating. You talk about your right to free speech, but I have a feeling that when our Founding-Fathers wrote the Constitution, and they spoke of freedom of speech, they didn't have in mind that future generations would go around calling police officers foul names for no reason! Did those three officers do something to you personally? Or do you just hate police in general? I hope to God that if you're ever in situation where you need the police, they don't treat you the way you treated them today.
You deserve the ticket, and I hope you get a Judge that doesn't like people who take their anger and frustrations out on others. If you're screwed up enough to yell at a table full of cops for no reason, who knows how you would react if someone accidentally cut you off in traffic. You have serious issues. I hope the Judge orders you into anger management classes. At least there you'll be around people that share your level of thinking.

The blah comment was funny.
It depends on your jurisdiction.
In my home town, it is illegal to use certain words in public, even when they are not used in reference to "officers of the law". If you were in New York City, everything you did was normal behavior for a New Yorker. There are lots of things you with this ticket to give the police officer the worst headache of your life. You might as well, because that was the intention of the gesture, right? First you would ask for a deposition of the officer. A deposition is a statement of facts from witnesses. You would ask for one from each of the officers in writing, be sure to ask for the specific statute that is in question. Request statements from the other officers to support the officer who gave you the ticket. If they use any of your information in their statements, they are not being truthful because they were not there when you got pulled over. This hearsay will help your case. Next you begin to file your pre-trial motions, which give police officers the worst headaches. Ask for the arrest records of the issuing officer for 3 months prior to the arrest, his logs, supporting statements, whether he was on duty and do so for the other three officers. Your motions must be answered either by compliance or a written denial (which you can then file a motion to counter). Each of your motions must be answered, if they are not, it is grounds for a motion to dismiss the charges. On the day you are supposed to go to trial, the officer will most likely make some sort of statement to the effect that "the judge will fry you". This is when you make a motion to move the trial to another jurisdiction on the grounds that the officer has given you reason to believe that you will not recieve a fair trial. Be incredibly polite to the officer despite your feeling of cops. It is your constitutional right to have your trial moved to another court within the same jurisdiction for reasons of fairness.
The police usually feel empowered in a court room setting. You can make that not the case and give him many nights to worry about you.
This guy sounds like he was made fun-of on the play ground and needed to make himself a career of feeling superior to everyone in compensation. He would like nothing more than to take a few hundred dollars from you with no effort on his part.
It's a good thing you didn't call his car, "gay".
(not that there is anything wrong with that)

I agree with Naples_6 you idiot ~ bob also has a point!!! But secondly, you are allowed to flip them off I believe, but the whole name calling might have done it. Police officers can give you tickets for all kinds of things, and you may hate them now, but just wait until one of the members of your family or a close friend or yours or YOURSELF is in need of their help. you have no idea about the behind the scenes work police officers do and you have may have "freedom of speech" but morally what is your problem? i understand the anger towards police, but they were just sitting there. you can't fight it and win, everyone will agree you were way out of control. Had this been in the middle of you already being pulled over, it might have gone over better, but they weren't doing anything to you!

Wow, you have some......anyway, that was a cute, but bad idea, in TX no such charge as Insulting an officer, in fact there's a stipulation about officers not being able to take offense to such things due to the occupation, anyhow, do something like that, and it would give a cop additional probable cause to chase you down and pull you over to see if you are not ROAD RAGIN' and sober, and lastly, it will give him probable cause to ask for your driver's license, insurance, and run a driver's license check, pay attention to your brake lights to see if they're out when you're stopping, see if you signaled when you pulled over, and most importantly, run you for any unpaid traffic tickets...

Yes you can fight and win this matter, just not with a lawyer. Go to http//:www.outlawslegal.com (address is correct, link is being blocked) this is a great resource for your situation. Further, i would gladly help you win, no obligation, just email me.
However, i think its extremely disrespectful, unfair and untrue to refer to them as "pigs" damn it! That is not at all what they are. I take it with great offense that you can demean these fine animals to the likes of monsters. For your information real pigs are clean, inteligent, pleasant to be around and never abused anyone. Not to mention the fact, technically a pig becomes a hog at 100lbs. When did you ever see one of those lazy, doughnut-sucking slobs weigh in at less? I think you should recant your slur and appoligogize to the honor and integrity of real pigs everywhere.
Perhaps for the sake of these innocent animals, you should try calling them what they really are; Mutant Traitors. (the proof is overwhelming)
Next time.. maybe you should do a little research.

No, you can't win. You broke laws regarding public indecency. Man you're stupid! Freedom of speech does mean you can say anything you want, but it doesn't mean you can get away with it. Every Freedom and Right we have comes with the responsibility to respect the Freedoms and Rights of others. So many closed minded and selfish people live under the false impression that Freedoms and Rights only apply to them. So do and say whatever you want, but don't cry when you have to face the consequences!

Try living in a place without any police. I've been to such places and murder, rape and kidnapping happen right in the open. Stop acting like a punk and if there is a real problem with the cops where you live do someting to fix the problem - start a community watch group - instead of BEING a problem.

Duh. I would write you up for everything I could. You might look at law enforcement a lilttle differently when you are face to muzzle with a .45 and your house is being emptied and you are begging for you life then your next thought is "I hope they don't go in my son and daughters rooms". Your hostility to cops probably stems from some past encounter where you felt victimized because you were caught doing something you weren't supposed to be doing.

The cop was right. Sorry, but what you did was "profane conduct", and you can indeed be ticketed for it in almost every jurisdiction in the USA. You don't have a leg to stand on for fighting it either.
