Well there are times when you should and times when you shouldn't. Women usually know what you are talking about when it comes to baby and household things. But women sometimes try to control everything and try and make the guy do everything for them. I guess it's up to you if you like to do everything a girl tells you then I guess she's happy and you'll be happy because there will be no problems otherwise she will ask you to and why and finally there will be screaming on her part.

If the woman is your mother-yes..

If the woman is your girlfriend and she TOLD you to do something.. Then either she is controling and no.. If it's important.. and in your best interest then yes..

If it's your wife seek marriage couseling, because she shouldn't be telling you what to do; you should have discussions on what to do..

If the woman is your Grandmother.. you'd better listen to her because grandmom's are usually right..

and if a sister... then it depends on your relationship (ie. If you don't get along.. then no/ If you do at least consider it)

Listen to your heart and figure out if the "task at hand" requires action or not.

Never do what a woman tells you to do. Half the time they don't even know what they want. Do you really want to get involved in that nonsense.

First thing, get that "telling" stuff straight. A woman should not be telling you to do anything. You're a man. Act like one.

Second, when they "politely request" that you do something, think about it and do it if you really want to do it, or if it will get you some. ;-)

It depends on who it is?? If it's ur mom, then she would be just telling you things for ur own gud. U could reason with her or cajole her into accepting ur point, cos she is urs solely always whatever u may do in this huge horrid world,whether ur right or wrong...If it is ur girlfriend, then u could do it if she is ur serious love and also if she loves u equally..dont ever let ur ego get the better of u in the world of love.. Coz it would never harm u ...to just give in... If they are simply ur friends, then think abt it deeply, cos it may most probably be double-sided..and otherwise jus do what you think is right.. The key to your question is the word "ALWAYS". You should never "ALWAYS" do anything, told to or not. Everything you do in life you must do according to the situation but always trying to "Do what love would do". And that includes love of self.
