Here is a home remedy regimen for dry hair:

GENTLE CLEANSER:

1. Beat an egg in a cup of skimmed milk. When the foam becomes consistent, rub it into the scalp. Leave it on for 5 minutes. Rinse the hair thoroughly with water. Carry out this routine twice a week.
2. Take a cup of coconut milk and add two tablespoons of gram flour or one teaspoon of shikakai. Apply on your scalp and hair and massage gently. Rinse it out after five minutes. Follow this recipe at least once a week.

PROTIEN CONDITIONER:

Beat one tablespoon of castor oil, one tablespoon of glycerin, a teaspoon of cider vinegar and a teaspoon of protein, plus a tablespoon of mild herbal shampoo. Apply it on scalp and leave it on for 20 minutes. Rinse with clear water.

----------------------------------------------------------------

MASSAGE OIL:

Get a bottle of castor oil or coconut oil. Add a teaspoon of lavender essential oil in it. Heat a little and massage it gently in your scalp at night. Rinse or shampoo it out in the morning. Follow this routine at least twice a week.

Suave has a wonderful moisturizing shampoo and conditioner in their professional series. You can shampoo your hair daily using them.

You might want to start with a hot VO oil pack following directions on the package. Some people use mayonnaise, but what a smell! If you use the Suave I recommended you won't need this remedy in the future.

Make sure you are not over drying your hair. If you keep the hot air going after it is dry, you will damage it badly.

pantene conditioner for damaged hair in white and yellow bottle. Also, the beauty store carries some great conditioners for damaged hair. Mine was to the point of staying put when i pulled it out to the side and after a month of treatments it is back to normal. Oil treatments also work good once a week or so. Dont apply to roots unless your hair is dry up top, else your going to end up with greasy looking hair.

well it depends on what nationality you are i think white girls just use conditioner and a light weight moisturizer but when my hair is dry (im black) i use lusters pink oil and only wash it once a week and wrap it at night to try to keep the heat out of it. if you are black then put some kinda moisturizer in it when you blow dry it. and make sure you let it dry a little before you start to blow it dry. sorry if ur white i dont know what u do??

Get a shampoo especially for dry hair. You might want to consider getting a treatment at a hair salon if it's too dry, also. Stay away from blow driers and straighteners/curlers.

I'd go for mayonnaise.. but becareful it smells bad when rinsing.. I tried it and its okay.. U can also use shampoos specialized for coloured hair, cuz their job is to soften the hair. (sunsilk 7 oils)
or wella-Kolestral Super, u use it by applying after shampooing and leaving it for upto an hour and then u rinse ur hair. Its really good
