ok so there's this guy. yes of course, i'm starting of with that sentence. well i like him, and he likes me. and at the end of summer, he's supposed to ask me out. i want to say yes! i've never had a boyfriend, but i have been asked out and when i did i was in total shock and feel bad about saying no. but i really like this guy and want to say yes. just saying "yes." sounds so like not good. i was thinking of maybe saying like 'sure, i'd love to.' and smile. how does that sound? and how would you answer? and guys, what do you think a good response would be to show that i really did care and wanted to without sounding cheesy or stupid? ok so i know this is so like pathetic but i'm nervous and i know i'll feel so awkward when the time does come. so i want to be prepared and i feel better asking people that i don't know so my friends don't think i'm so paranoid. and PLEASE, no crap! i'm so serious about this and want real answers. i want personal experiences that worked too!! thanks!

I think it is okay to answer his question that way! I think that it is not a big deal as how you respond for a guy. A guy does not look into an acceptance of a relationship like a young lady would! It really does not matter if you just say yes or I would love to be your gf!

Why are you waiting for him to ask you out? Why not just go ahead and ask him.

From a guys point of view, any kind of 'Yes' will work. Its a date, not a marriage. So just relax.

Helpful hint of the day for a great date. Find something you both like. Don't go to a fancy resteraunt, keep it casual and relaxed. Pirates 2 is out now and is good for guys and girls. Great date movie and plenty of time for extra kisses and kuddles in the dark.

purely relax & be your self. you do not should be stricken about putting on an act or doing or putting forward some thing that you regularly doesn't do w/absolutely everyone else. Ask her if she likes music, if so what type. videos? what type. Does she like activities? what type. purely locate out somewhat about her & you'll detect a topic you both can talk about. don't worry, issues w/tutor ok in case you only let them. Ask her the position she may pick to bypass if she ought to bypass everywhere. imagine of things you could talk about before you bypass out. maximum of all, have interesting. you'll in case you only don't worry about it because there is no longer some thing to be stricken about...(^_^)

well......most likely since you guys are young he'll ask "Do you want to go out with me?"....and then you'll giggle and blush....lol.....but you should flirt and say "As in being your girlfriend you mean?"....and then he'll get shy and smile with a "Yeah.." .......(he'll probably think why he didn't just say that the first time...lol)....and you can say "I'd love to"....and if you feel brave give him a kiss on the cheek! :)

if he starts with something else you can always do the same thing!

good luck!

when my first bf asked me out i answered by saying "yeah that would be great" but it doesnt matter what u say it matters how u say it. like if you wanna say sure id love to, then say it but not to enthusiasticly and not to unenthusiasticly. sorta like "Sure!*make it sound cheerful*" say i'd love to if u must.
