lol relax guys lol im not getting hung up on my complextion... i looove my color.. and yes every shade of every race is beautiful... i just wanted to know what yall thought i looked like... and also do i looked mixed? if so... mixed what with what?

I hear that.. it's really unneccessary in the 21st century. I used to date a Dominican guy for almost 6 years (i look Dominican but I'm not), and he told me all this colorstruck stuff about how Dominicans think. It's just another sad holdover from colonial slavery times, where "divide and conquer" was maintained by ingraining skin color competition between light and darker skinned people.
Black white brown yellow red.. it's all beautiful. Variety is beautiful.
P.S. Most people ARE mixed.. being of "pure" blood is a myth. They have done studies on "White" Americans and found that about 30% of all have some degree of African blood in them, among others. So it's all relative. So the people you think look "Black" may also be mixed race.

Your question is a hard one. Dominicans are descendents
of African slaves. Black Americans, Haitians, Puerto Ricans,
Cubans, Brazilians, Hondurans, Jamaicans, Bahamians,
Barbadians, Black Britons, etc. all share this common ancestry.
If you speak Spanish, you might sound Dominican, but you
look Black. When people see you walking down the street they
think "cool" or they think "epithet" it doesn't matter what part
of the world you live in, if you are darker you either get props
or get hated on. I say love yourself and live.

ive always wondered the same thing forever too. Im half haitian half dominican and most people dont belive im half latino so i guess i look more black. And for you You look like a light skin black person just like me.
