or get out of Manhattan & go to Coney Island in Brooklyn for a day.

Well for clubs/lounges my two favorite places of the moment are STEREO (w. 29th) and the HIRO lounge in the Maritime Hotel (w. 16th). For resturants, Balthazar (spring street) is really great. For stuff during the day I really like going downtown to the East Village because they have good shopping and its very unique. If you go to http://www.newyorkmetro.com they list all the newest 'hot spots' of the city with resturants and clubs and shopping and pretty much anything you can think of.
