As long as you are doing other chores and your boyfriend likes cooking I don't see a problem.

There is nothing wrong with no being able to cook. However, there is something wrong if you don't try to change that. No one was born knowing how to cook, you have to learn. So what if you don't like too you can't be selfish when you start a family. So, you really need to learn. Nowadays, it's easy most stuff is in bags and ready. Just find one or two signature dishes that you can get good at and focus on those and then get some read to serve dishes.

I think that knowing how to cook and being a good cook is a gift. Some have it and some don't. You can take a cooking class or 2 to get the basics. As for me im gifted i cook everyday.I would advise you to tell your future fiance and let them know up front otherwise it may become a problem later. If you really don't like to cook make sure your man does. Someone has got to know how to cook in that household when you do have kids. I would definently take some classes, they have them at your local community college because you don't want to be going out to eat everyday and youre kids will need healthy meals. For some it comes natural and for others they have to learn it by taking a class.......etc.So good luck and remember "practice makes perfect".

I'm sorry you don't like cooking, but at some point it becomes a necessity. It's less expensive and usually healthier than dining out all the time.
There's not something wrong with you, I know way too many women who don't know how to cook. I grew up with a mother who taught me how to cook everything, so I have a certain comfort level with it.

Start off with simple easy recipes and find things that make you happy to share with your BF and others. Make it an activity the 2 of you can share...he'll probably be flattered that you are trying for him.

I know several women who can't cook. Not that they don't want to...they actually CAN'T, and I'm not sure why. They've tried and tried and just make a mess out of everything they touch, lol! If you can read a recipe, then you can cook! Just start with something simple, and work your way up from there.

Some women just weren't meant to cook. Personally, I love to, and wish I had the time to do it more often!

You should at least learn the basics. Buy a good basic cook book and just fallow the directions you'll be cooking like a pro in no time.
I didn't know how to cook at all until I was 20. Now I can cook pretty well. I don't really like to but when I have to it's nice to know that it's not going to be gross.

I can cook but my husband enjoys cooking, so he does more of it than I do. But there are things that one is better than the other at, so each has things the other won't cook & the chef never does the dishes or cleans up the kitchen. I am in charge of bbq ribs because mine are always best, he makes my Mom's chicken & dumplings & all home made baked goods. My daughter makes the best meatloaf (no ketchup as I despise ketchup) So, just because you are a female you are not "born to cook" that's why God made McDonalds!

Anyone who can read or eat can learn to cook. It can be a nice hobby you can learn together. It is important knowing how to cook and bake. Of course you would not like to cook if you really don't know how. Once you learn to make some tasty dishes you will be proud of yourself. Start with something you enjoy and learn how to make it. One step at a time.

Yeah, you're useless.....just kidding. Hey, if you haven't learned or don't like it then there's nothing wrong with that. Just try to help sometimes. See, my ex girlfriend was a very good cook and I can cook a few things but nothing like her. So I would do my best and help her prpare things and just help out where I could and let her know I appreciated what she did all the time. Give her little back rubs while she was cutting things up etc etc....she loved the attention and help s it didn't matter that I didn't know much....so rest assured, don't stress out about it, you can always learn if you want to.....

The only thing wrong is that it doesn't sound like you WANT to learn to cook. If you have kids, I hope you will have someone else around to help take care of them. And why can't that person cook? One of you should learn, that's for sure. And besides, it's fun. You will make mistakes along the way, I only hope they were not expensive mis-steaks!

No there isn't anything wrong with you because you don't know how to cook. Some people need to be taught how to cook and some people are born with a cooking gene, it's easy to learn and once you learn it is pretty fun, good luck!
