Yes, although consider the conditions for pregnancy. True, sperm are hardy in the right conditions and can live for several days even, but they also die very fast when they're not in the right conditions (i.e., exposed to air for a long period of time, etc.)

A woman is not fertile every single day of her cycle - she can only get pregnant when she is ovulating (a short period of time in the cycle). It's hard to know though when ovulation is taking place unless you really know your body.

The chances of getting pregnant without sexual intercourse (just 'fooling around') is much less than if you had unprotected sexual intercourse.

ALWAYS USE PROTECTION!

It's possible to get pregnant w/o having intercourse. But some sexual activity is required. Sperm are good swimmers and can live for several days after ejactulation in the right conditions. If an errant sperm manages to make it to a vagina, then it's possible for the female in question to become pregnant. The odds of this occuring are fairly low, but it does still happen.
