Usually people talk about the trinity in this order: Father, Son, Holy Spirit. But that doesn't mean that the Father is any bigger or better than the other two - it is simply a way to order things. Most people can comprehend "the creator" best.

Well, since no one is born (or created) without a mother, I'd say the Great Mother is first. As the saying goes, my Goddess gave birth to your God. A little comparative religions or the history of religion might help you.
