They give answers, but not to my question. I want a yes or no. If you want to give an opinion on other things, or state how you feel first tell me yes or no. This was the question."Christian endorsement of evolution.?
If faith is enough for religion, then is it enough for evolution? If it can prove one thing can it prove others? By that logic, then I would be correct to say that because I believe in evolution it is real. I see christians picking at evolution, and saying faith proves christanity correct. If it works for them then it should work for us. We don't need proof if you don't. I am not looking to offend, just to see if christians could see what I mean, and if it works by their standard.

Just wondering if anyone would like to answer my question. I don't want insults, but if you are christian, then would faith be enough for you in all areas?

I don't care if you think evolution takes faith, but want to know if faith would make it true to you.

I'm sorry but you are really asking the wrong question. The whole point of science is that you don't accept anything on faith. That is why it is called science. (which is why we should not teach creationism or intelligent design or whatever you want to call it in science class. Teach it in some other class, maybe, but not in science class.) So no one should be asked to accept the theory of evolution on faith, and if you happen to believe it on faith, that does NOT make it true. It is only true to the extent it can be proven by scientific experiment.

Evolution is your religion because you have to exercise faith in it as well because there is NO PROOF it is just a theory. True Christians have God's word and prophecies that have been fulfilled and also have some secular proof as well. So to you, yes you have faith in evolution. But you will see the folly of it soon enough. The definition of faith in the Bible is, Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld.

Christian endorsement of evolution is not a question. Maybe it would help if you would explain yourself a bit more. I think I understand what you are asking, though.
Yes, you do have faith. The faith of a saint, because the evolutionary belief states that NOTHINGNESS blew up and created matter. Matter decided to procreate and start swimming around. Fish decided to grow legs and walk on land. Life decided to diversify into billions of forms of plant and animal life and somehow not leave a single solitary transitional fossil (the earth should be literally covered with them).
This takes way more faith than to believe in an all-knowing, all-loving creator. You have me beat in the faith department, my friend. : )
Grace and Peace to you.

I'm Catholic, but kinda veered away from the path so many others seem so fixed upon. I don't believe faith is enough for the basis of anything. The theory of evolution isn't true because of faith, but proven by fact... physical evidence. All religion based on faith does is direct people on how to live their lives. Because they have faith doesn't necessarily mean God exists... all they have is a book to go on, with a bunch of stories that aren't meant to be taken literally.

Faith does not prove anything. Believing in something does not make it real, it only means that you think it is real. So, I suppose believing in it makes it real for you. Having faith in evolution makes it a religion like any other, it is a belief in something that can not be proved.

I am a Christian, and I believe the Bible is true. That being said, if evolutionists want to say evolution is "scientific fact" but fill in their holes with "faith in science", then why can't Christians fill the holes with faith in God? If you demand proof from one, you should demand proof from the other.

It all depends on how you look at it. If you look at it in a spiritual way you might see things in a certain light. While, if you look at it scientifically you might have a completely different opinion...I do not think that trying to compare science with a persons spirituality is going to resolve any issues... A persons faith is a persons faith while science is science...

No.
I don't see that evolution has been proved.
By faith we are saved.... . I don't have faith in what can be disproved. Religion?? I know Jesus is in me. That is the proof.
Since Jesus is in me then what He said was and is still true because He doesn't change.
I have faith in what He said.
