YES HE IS. In the book of Revelation, the bible describes Jesus as Michael, the arc angel. (As a sprit person, before he came down to earth) This angel has the highest authority under God. Jesus is God's firstborn son. Hence, he is the arc angel. By the way, God's name is Jehovah (Psalms 83:18)

I dont think so, for three main reasons

First, the two places in the New Testament Michael is named, in Jude and Revelation, Jesus is also named and no connection made between the two. I would love to hear what Mary C the Jehovah witness below thinks about why both Jesus and Mary are named in both Jude and Revelation and no connection made even in the same page

Second, in Daniel, Michael is said to be one of the chief princes but Jesus is not a one of... Jesus is a one and only... at that time , Jesus did not yet take on the nature of an unfallen man born in Bethleham in addition to his divine nature

Third, In Jude Michael would not rebuke Satan, but Jesus did
implying a difference

Jehovah Witnesses believe Michael is Jesus, taken from their original origins as a Bible Study of Russel from a splinter from Seventh Day adventists who also believe this. It is not an essential whether Jesus was named Michael in heaven or not
I just dont think the case is good

It comes down to Jesus returning and coming with ;the voice of the archangel and the trumpet of God' in Thessalonians. Now Jesus comes withthe trumpet but is not a trupet. Similarly he is coming with the voice of the archangel can mean Jesus is bringing the head angels who are making a victory cry bringing the angels they lead in a rush on earth.

The case that Michael is the same as Jesus is neither a good one or an essential one, its more a distraction for more important issues. Another side issue is God's precise name, as most scholars know the tetragramon YHWH Yahweh (like I AM) had the vowes of adonai (lord ) inserted in between as a reminder to say lord and not the name of God, a anglisized german trnaslation of the mix makes for a work like jehovah and many feel its a side issue but not an original word and many feel that ehovah witnesses are over emotionally investied in making it so since its int heir name

"Do you imagine those who coach this may have eternal existence?" God will choose the international by technique of Jesus, who's the guy that he has ordained (Acts 17:24,30-31; Romans 2:16; Acts 10:38-40 2; Matthew 7:21-29). No, the particular declare that Jesus is Michael the Archangel isn't precise. The scriptures under no circumstances state that Jesus is Michael the Archangel, this declare is produced from hypothesis. Jesus is called the son of God considering the the angel gave to Mary (Luke a million:30-35). The doctrine of the Trinity isn't precise both. God is one "heis", no longer 3 in a unmarried "chicken" (Mark 12:29,32; a million Timothy 2:5; a million Corinthians 8:4,6; Galatians 3:20). you could learn the Greek for your self. the only authentic God is the daddy of Jesus (John 17:a million,3). the only authentic God despatched Jesus (John 8:40 2; John 17:a million,3; a million John 4:9). Jesus redeemed us to God (Revelation 5:9-10). Jesus gave himself as an providing and a sacrifice to GOD for the church (Ephesians 5:2,25-32). Jesus is the first begotten/first born of the lifeless (Revelation a million:4-7,18; Colossians a million:17-20; Ephesians 2:4-10). God wasn't lifeless. God has exceptionally exalted Jesus who became obedient even to demise (Philippians 2). Ephesians a million 2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all religious advantages in heavenly places in Christ: 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the daddy of glory, ought to provide unto you the spirit of information and revelation contained in the records of him: 18 The eyes of your expertise being enlightened; that ye should understand what's the desire of his calling, and what the riches of the respect of his inheritance contained in the saints, 19 and what's the exceeding greatness of his skill to us-ward who believe, in accordance to the operating of his robust skill, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, even as he raised him from the lifeless, and set him at his personal top hand contained in the heavenly places, 21 a procedures extraordinarily principality, and ability, and may, and dominion, and each and each and every call it is named, no longer only in this international, yet also in that it truly is to come back: 22 And hath placed all issues lower than his ft, and gave him to be the top over all issues to the church, 23 it truly is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

I heard a Bible answer man on the radio say that they are the same. I would say he is wrong but that is taught in alot of christian churches.

Michael is a leader of the angels that drove lucifer out of heaven.

Mormons believe that Michael became Adam, the first man.

Definitely not. Jesus is God. He is one of the Three Divine Persons who are the Triune God. St. Michael is the highest of angels. He is God's "right hand man" so to speak. Completely different persons. :)

Nein.

St. Michael's is Jesus' hit man. He lays the smackdown on evil stuff, while Jesus sits on his thrown and eats peeled grapes.
