the Bible says that God is a jealous God so don't you think that you should pray to only him if you pray to Mary isn't that the same as praing to an idol she is not the one that died for our sins and she is not the one that created us or everything around us she was just a piece of God's wonderful plan as were all of the other saints that people pray to I honestly believe that if Mary could she would come down here and Bible slap all those that do pray to her I don't believe that is what she ever wanted

I don't see what the problem is. Catholic believe that we pray TO God WITH the saints, who are holy men and women. True, the way most of us word our prayers is in a way that is directed to the saint, but all prayers go to God.
If you are praying with an open and sincere faith, I don't think it is a problem to draw strength and inspiration from someone not of your denomination.

This is a complicated, I do not realy understand what do you wont to ask,
Is it wrong to pray to saint who is not in your religion?
Every religion has its saints, but they are chosen by history of miracles and deeds , and officialy made saints by hierarchy of church denomination in whitch you are.
Now You are a ortodox christian, so every saint that lived and was officialy nominated as saint until shism between roman catholic an orthodox church are saints in bouth denominations, now there were saints on both sides from shism until now, and the problems are with them.
Roman catholic church and ortodox church are recognized between themselves as fully Church, all the sacraments are recognized, so in need roman catholic can go to confession to ortodox priest.
Does this by any chance confirms orthodox saint in catholic church, I do not think so, but he is a saint because the ortodox church is a fully church with all its atributes, but he is not confirmed in catholic church only the Holy See with its institutions of faith is confirming sainthood in its domain. It is not wrong, but it is not canonical. The prayer will be answered, because, you can pray to any christian person who is dead and is in heaven to pray for yourself in heaven.
If the saint is from period before schism, there is no problem , everything before 1054 is the same for bouth denominations ortodox and roman catholic.

Worship the Lord your God only. Ask in Jesus' name and follow the examples of the saints (set aside ones).
Mat 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

There is also an orhodox saint, St. Antonie, who you can pray to. I don't know if what you do is wrong. Honestly.
