It depends on the reasoning for why you are booked in for a c-section. If the placenta is not obstructing the cervix, and the baby is head down, providing that there are no other issues, your doctor may well let you attempt a natural delivery. Likes been said, if you've have 1 c-section, you are likely to need another.

The problem with having your waters broken is that once there has been some medical intervention, it increases the likely hood of needing more intervention.

That said, I do know women who've had a section, and gone on to have 3 other natural births!

Doctors usually dont like you to give birth vaginaly after having a c section.
