Cold and crispy. At least they can be re-heated and be ok, but not great.

Hot and soggy. However, we can come to equilibrium or medium in this situation. Obviously, you're not going to hold the bag closed for an infinite eternity. And you you're not going to leave it open for an infinite eternity either. So, we just deal with the bag as we naturally would in the relatively short time period we have to deal with it so that some fries are soggy while others (many more) are crispy, and some fries are cold while others (yes, many more) are hot. So, we are left with a majority of HOT AND CRISPY fries. Mmm. As it turns out, not many bad, flavor-minimizing things can happen to the fries in the short time you have between ordering them and eating them. It's true: we usually get hot and crispy fries.
