You won't find it. God always provided for His son. Jesus had everything He ever needed. That's not poor to me.

Well, Matthew 19:23-24, Mark 10:24-25 and Luke 18:24-25 tell us that it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the gates of heaven.
So either this Jesus was poor, or the biggest hypocrite to ever live.

He was not poor. The scripture says for our sakes he become poor so we could become rich, but that is in the context of him being God coming to Earth as man and enduring the suffering of the cross so that we can be saved from damnation. As far as wealth is concerned he was the farthest thing from poor. When he was born they brought him gold (you know the three wise men story, even though it was far more than three of them). He was from the family of David whos son Solomon was the wealthiest person in history. I dont think all that wealth was wasted by the time Jesus came. So no scripture indicates that he was not poor.

I don't think that it actually says that, but wasn't everybody pretty much poor back then? Except the Romans? The stories of His life are in these books of the Bible: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. They're all the same, just written from different perspectives.

Anybody who can make wine from water and produce bread and fish out of thin air can never be considered poor. He never wanted for anything.
Given just those two qualities, one would have to say he was very well-to-do.
Throw in water-walking and all the rest, ifJ esus ever existed he was very rich, even by 21st century standards.

Matthew 8:18-20 implies that Jesus did not even own a home. He often referred to Himself as the Son of Man:
18When Jesus saw the crowd around him, he gave orders to cross to the other side of the lake. 19Then a teacher of the law came to him and said, "Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go."
20Jesus replied, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head."

Jesus' father was a jewish carpenter. he wasn'texactly poor, but he wasn't rich either. They had enough to eat, and a place to live, and maybe a few goats or sheep in the communal flock.

Wow. They are trying to use the quote about having no place to lay his head to say that means he is poor.
How sad they are.
Just so you Christians know the verse was saying that he is not welcomed where he goes. Do you people seriously think he had no place to rest? Do you think one of his followers wouldn't put him up. Where did he host the last supper? It wasn't in a cave.
