Nice question!!! And some even were waiting for the answers..

When there is no other choice, Islam gives permission for the women to unveil for the stipulated amount of time. THe Hijab or the Burqa is not a degrading element. Infact its a protection.

I ask you all, why is rape, molestation so adamant in today's hi profile society. If everyone dress modestly and conceal their bodies, not showing their adornment in front of the members of the opposite sex, then there would be no such social evil.

You think that its only Islam that commands women to wear burqa? you are wrong. All major religions say that. What???

Open the Bible, it says women to be dressed modestly and to cover their heads. Surprised? Check it out. In the Vedas, the Hindu religious scripture, its commanded for women to dress modestly.

Its only Islam that lays the best laws on modesty and ensures that there are no social evils.

Does it really matter if they wear the Burqa or not, When they get to passport control they will be wearing a Burqa so can not be identified unless they go to a seperate room and show a female officer.
But the idea is for identification , SO really they need to show their face, Most countries employ women in their passport points so they just need to ask to go into a room to one side.

I am a South African Muslim and here we are allowed to wear our scarf for ID photos. If it was not allowed I would find a female photographer to take my photo.
