PS 48:10 Like your name, O God,
your praise reaches to the ends of the earth;
your right hand is filled with righteousness.

ECC 2:24 A man can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in his work. This too, I see, is from the hand of God, 25 for without him, who can eat or find enjoyment?

ISA 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Acts 5:31 God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might give repentance and forgiveness of sins to Israel.

I could go on, but try some research of your own.

Yes, I believe that the Hand of God does much for humanity, although rare.

For example, I think he spent a GREAT DEAL OF TIME teaching the prophets who I list as Jesus, Muhammad, Ghandi, Buddha, and Dobial. Although we can not prove that God inspired these individuals and helped them with their ethics and ontological systems, they seemed DIVINELY INSPIRED and abnormally illuminated.

God is PURE GOOD, and people have attributed things to him such as WRATH far more frequently than it appears to have occurred. I would say that the last time GOD'S WRATH truly took form was when Gabriel struck down Sodom and Gamorrah.

Religion is, in my opinion, early man's attempt to discern the supernatural with SOME HELP at times from God, the prophets, and the angels. So, it is LIKELY that they OFTEN got it wrong, but got MORE RIGHT over time than WRONG.

How does an Athiest like Buddha make prophet? Ask God when you get to meet him. But, he lived a VERY MODEL LIFE, had GOOD RELIGIOUS INTERPRETATION, and APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN TOUCHED QUITE FREQUENTLY by the Hand of God in his instruction. I love Buddhism, and it is very popular with SOME PEOPLE. God appears to like variety, and even SATAN made angel despite his alleged faults.

And, even when he apparently SMITED PEOPLE it was not without WAY MORE THAN GOOD REASONS. He was very forgiving, but at times a bit wrathful which is quite understandable. And, his wrath was quick and forgiveness just as quick.

Don't forget that God gave us CREATION and 6 BILLION friends in this realm of existence alone. Sometimes, they are pretty bad friends indeed, but I love them anyway.

Yes, he plays poker on Saturday nights with Buddha and Ganesh.

God does not play dice with the universe: He plays an ineffable game of His own devising, which might be compared, from the perspective of any of the other players [i.e. everybody], to being involved in an obscure and complex variant of poker in a pitch-dark room, with blank cards, for infinite stakes, with a Dealer who won't tell you the rules, and who smiles all the time.

Everything has a season as the book of Ecclesiastes says it. Now it is a time that we must endure trials. Jesus said that he who endure all kind of trials will be bless and the fools shall die.

I am reminded of an old country song..."Daddy's Hands"...
The chorus line goes,
"Daddy's hands weren't always gentle, but I came to understand,
There was always love in Daddy's hands..."
